Production technologies used in the production process

  • POLYCARBONATE

    Most frames of sports sunglasses and goggles are constructed of polycarbonate because of its interesting features. It is extremely hard, thermoplastic, lightweight and highly impact-resistant material.

  • GRILAMID TR-90

    A high quality type of nylon characterized by an extremely high bending strength. Lightweight, tough and shape-retaining material that is also exceptionally impact-resistant. It is used in sports glasses because of its shock resistance, flexibility, durability and non-allergenic properties.

  • POLYMETHYLPENTENE PMP

    PMP is a thermoplastic polymer used for floating frames of sports sunglasses because it is extremely lightweight material, as well as durable and impact and scratch-resistant.

  • TPEE

    TPEE is a thermoplastic elastomer used for frames of sports eyewear. Exceptionally soft and flexible, rubber-like material. Frames made of TPEE retain their shape after bending, are pleasant to the touch and comfortable to wear.

  • TPU (THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE)

    Exceptionally durable material retaining its elasticity in a wide temperature range. Goggle frames made of TPU are soft, comfortable, scratch and impact-resistant.

  • CELLULOSE ACETATE

    High quality material traditionally used for producing optical frames and frames of classically designed sunglasses. Typical properties of cellulose acetate include: toughness, deep gloss, high transparency. Moreover, it is hypoallergenic and pleasant to the touch. Production technique allows the frames to be cut from sheets of cellulose acetate and bent in high temperature achieving spectacular colour effects.

  • POLYCARBONATE LENSES

    Polycarbonate lenses are lightweight, thin, durable and impact-resistant. Sports eyewear lenses are usually made of polycarbonate because it is naturally UV absorbing and scratch-resistant material enhancing the vision in any lighting conditions.

  • POLARIZED LENSES

    Polarized lenses are designed to reduce irritating reflections and glare caused by light reflected from surfaces such as water, road, sand or snow. All polarized lenses absorb 100% of UV light and eliminate 99% glare light. Polarized sunglasses are particularly popular with fishermen, boaters, skiers, snowboarders, bikers and other outdoor sports enthusiasts. In fact, all wearers who work or rest in the sunshine will enjoy a clearer view and elimination of glare. Polarized sunglasses are the perfect driving glasses due to the glare reduction. They can also be used by people who suffer from oversensitivity to sun rays.

  • TAC POLARIZED LENSES

    TAC polarized filter is laminated with triacetate cellulose and additionally protected by extremelly impact-and scratch-resistant hard coating on the outer layer. The lenses block 100% of all UV and eliminate 99% glare light. They enhance visibility by improving color contrast. The durable protective films prevent the TAC lenses from delamination or shrinking.

  • GOGGLES WITH POLARIZED LENS

    Polarized lens is designed to reduce irritating reflections and glare caused by light reflected from horizontal surfaces such as snow or ice. It absorbs 100% of UV light and eliminates 99% glare light. Contrast is enhanced, vision becomes clear and objects are quicker to identify. This enables the skier or rider to see changing textures in snow or dangerous icy patches significantly better and react much faster.

  • POLYCARBONATE POLARIZED LENSES

    The toughest lens with the highest optical quality. The perfect combination of the polarized and polycarbonate lens: tough, lightweight, durable, impact and scratch resistant; it absorbs 100% of UV radiation and eliminates 99% glare light. Polycarbonate polarized lenses are particularly recommended for extreme sports enthusiasts as well as athletes, boaters, skiers, snowboarders, bikers and all wearers who work or rest in the glaring sun and need protection from strong sunlight.

  • PHOTOCHROMIC LENSES

    Photochromic lenses darken when exposed to UV light and gradually return to the original state once the light is reduced. They protect the eyes in a wide variety of lighting conditions. In addition, photochromic lenses provide 100% protection from harmful solar radiation.

  • BRIGHTENING LENSES (YELLOW, AMBER, ORANGE)

    Yellow, amber or orange tints improve contrast in poor visibility, heighten visual acuity, filter out blue light and enhance the perception of depth. Brightening lenses increase safety in adverse weather conditions; ideal for drivers, bikers and winter sport enthusiasts.

  • ANTI-FOG TREATMENT

    The anti-fog coating prevents the fogging of the lens in low temperatures to insure a clearer vision. When cleaning a single lens with the anti-fog treatment gently pat a lens, avoid any rubbing of the inside surface so as not to damage the anti-fog layer. The lenses generally do not retain their anti-fog properties indefinitely. The anti-fog coating may wear out or become scratched over time.

  • UV 400 PROTECTION

    UV 400 treatment blocks all three ranges of ultraviolet radiation: UVA, UVB and UVC and protects the human eye 100% from harmful effects of the sun rays.

  • ANTI-REFLECTIVE COATING

    The anti-reflective coating is applied to the lens in order to improve the visibility through the lenses and reduce annoying reflections and UV radiation.

  • ANTI-SCRATCH COATING

    Permanent coating applied to the lenses helps to prevent scratches. Anti-scratch layer makes lenses more durable.

  • DOUBLE LENS SYSTEM

    Double lens system is used in ski goggles in order to support the proper system of ventilation. The system is constructed of an exterior polycarbonate or polarized lens and an interior acetate lens. The thermal barrier created between the lenses successfully prevents fogging and provides additional protection.

  • AIR COOLING SYSTEM

    The lens ventilation system used in protective eyewear for cyclists and skiers to maximize airflow which eliminates fogging of the lens to give a clear vision.

  • REVO TREATMENT

    A coating consisting of 12 to15 protective layers which reflect the harmful light rays and provide perfect protective and visual qualities. Ideal for sports eyewear.

  • RUBBER NOSE PADS

    Rubber nose pads guarantee a non-slip, pressure-free fit and reliable eye protection, significantly improving wearing comfort. Made of soft, non-allergenic material.

  • SILICONE

    Silicone offers stability over a wide temperature range and is a perfect material to be used in adverse weather conditions. Soft, non-allergenic nose pads and temple ends made of silicone guarantee a pressure-free, non-slip fit and reliable eye protection and significantly improve wearing comfort.

  • SOFT TOUCH COATING

    An exceptionally soft, gentle and pleasant to the touch coating which is applied to the frames of glasses in order to maximize the wearing comfort. Soft touch technology guarantees a pressure-free, temperature-resistant protection and helps to keep the glasses securely in place.

  • OVER THE GLASSES GOGGLES (OTG)

    Large goggles which fit over most prescription glasses.

  • HELMET COMPATIBLE GOGGLES

    The goggles fit smoothly with the helmet enhancing the pleasure and comfort of the user.

  • GOGGLES WITH DOUBLE LAYER FACE FOAM

    A layer of medium density polyurethane foam is covered with very soft, skin-friendly and non-allergenic polarfleece fabric.

  • GOGGLES WITH TRIPLE LAYER FACE FOAM

    Two layers of high and medium density polyurethane foam are covered with very soft, skin-friendly and non-allergenic polarfleece fabric.

  • SPONGE/FOAM PADDING

    Absorbs moisture and gives additional protection from solar radiation.
